I discovered polymer clay in the early 1990s, at a time when the material was still finding its identity. What fascinated me was not just what polymer clay could imitate, but what it could become when treated as a serious creative medium.

Over the years, my work has explored pattern, structure, surface, and form—always looking for new ways to push the boundaries of the material.

ALWAYS ASKING : WHAT IF?

Many of my favourite discoveries have started with a simple question:

“Is there a better way?”

That curiosity has led me to develop tools, modify processes, experiment with technology, and explore the intersection of polymer clay with new approaches like 3D printing and digital design.

Innovation isn’t about replacing traditional techniques. It’s about expanding what’s possible.

I believe creativity grows from understanding.

The goal of my classes has never been to simply teach a project you can reproduce. Instead, I want you to understand the principles behind the process so you can take those ideas somewhere completely new.

I don’t just teach projects.

I teach systems.

Long before online learning became the norm, I travelled internationally teaching polymer artists in classrooms, guilds, and conferences around the world.

Today, my online school allows me to continue that conversation with artists everywhere.
