WEARABLE VESSELS IN POLYMER CLAY
A process-and-project course, A Perfect Fit will cover everything you need to know to make your own ‘all-polymer’ wearable vessel, using original fool-proof methods for vessel fabrication and finishing. All aspects of design, construction and finishing will be covered in detail, starting with making a collection of hollow vessel forms, and then turning one of those forms into a wearable container. Your own decorative veneers will embellish the exterior, and you’ll learn how to give your vessel a beautiful finish.
““A Perfect Fit” has been a joyful challenge in learning many new techniques as well as applying some I’d learned in previous HoCo classes (especially “Building Better Beads” which was an important foundational class).
In addition to this being a supportive learning environment with a masterful teacher and encouraging classmates, my favorite aspects of this class are the thoughtful mechanics of building from the inside out, the keen attention to detail, and the opportunity to view and review the thorough videos and written lessons. I have loved every minute.
